Wine tourism and nature come together in this visit to a winery on Mount Etna, where you'll enjoy the wines produced on the slopes of this Sicilian volcano.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and depart from Taormina to Etna. A short stop will be made in Piedimonte Etneo, where you can enjoy some free time for coffee before continuing to a winery in a village near Etna Park Natural Reserve.

In the typical Sicilian winery, you'll discover the secrets of local wines. The visit includes the barrel cellar, vineyards, and an explanation of Etna grape growing. You'll learn about the role of volcanic soil and common grape varieties.

Access to the tasting room allows you to sample a total of 3 wines and a prosecco, accompanied by cheeses, olives, aubergine, and other appetizers. The excursion lasts 4.5 hours, concluding with a return to the starting point.
