Castelo Branco Museums Tour

On this tour of Castelo Branco, we'll visit the Embroidery Interpretation Centre and the Jardim do Paço. We will explore the city's museums.

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Avenida Nuno Álvares to start the walking tour of museums in Castelo Branco. During the tour, we will learn about its history and main monuments.

We will stroll through the capital of the ancient region of Beira Baixa and see the remaining Templar walls, the façades of the Igreja da Misericórdia (Church of Mercy), the Cathedral, and manor houses of historically significant families.

Afterward, we will head to the Castelo Branco embroidery interpretation center to learn about this traditional activity of the town.

Next, we will stroll through Parque Da Cidade and enter the Jardim do Paço, noted for being one of the best examples of Baroque art in Portugal, featuring fountains and sculptures.

Finally, after 3.5 hours of sightseeing, we will conclude the tour of Castelo Branco at the starting point.
