Castillo de Garcimuñoz Castle is a fortress situated in Castillo de Garcimuñoz, designed to protect the town from invaders. Its original owner was Garcimuñoz, a knight allied with King Alfonso VIII in his 12th-century conquest of Cuenca. Later, it was owned by Prince Don Juan Manuel. The castle was reconstructed in the 15th century by the Marquis of Villena and showcases the cohabitation of Arabic, Jewish, and Christian cultures in Cuenca.

The castle's structure is well-preserved, and despite some interior deterioration, visitors can explore it at their own pace using an audio-guide available in English. The site offers remarkable views of surrounding stately homes, the Agustinos convent, and the San Juan Bautista church.
