Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

Enjoy an exciting rush of adrenaline as you rappel down the narrow walls of the Buitre gorge in this canyoning adventure in the Castril valley.

At 9:30 am, we will meet outside the Asador Romero, located just 5 kilometers from the center of Castril. After introductions, we will follow the guide to the starting point of the route in our own vehicles.

We will arrive at the gorge of El Buitre, in the Sierra de Castril natural park, known for its waterfalls and narrow walls, ideal for canyoning. After equipping ourselves with the necessary gear, a brief theoretical class will cover safety measures before the activity starts.

The tour includes a total of nine rappels, two of which are nearly 100 feet (30 meters) long. Participants can enjoy the views while experiencing the thrill of canyoning.

For the return, we will climb a slope leading to a dirt track near our vehicles.

We will conclude the activity at 12:30 pm in the parking lot of the Buitre gorge.
