Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

Enjoy an exciting rush of adrenaline as you rappel down the narrow walls of the Buitre gorge in this canyoning adventure in the Castril valley.

Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

At 9:30 am, we'll meet outside the Asador Romero, located just 5 kilometers from the center of Castril. After introductions, we will carpool with the guide to the starting point.

We will arrive at the gorge of El Buitre, a part of the Sierra de Castril natural park. After being equipped with necessary gear, a brief theoretical class will explain safety measures before starting.

Participants will enjoy nine rappels, including two nearly 100 feet (30 meters) long. The tour offers stunning views of the natural environment.

The return will involve a short climb to a dirt track near where the vehicles are parked.

We will finish the activity at 12:30 pm in the Buitre gorge parking lot.
