Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

Enjoy an exciting rush of adrenaline as you rappel down the narrow walls of the Buitre gorge in this canyoning adventure in the Castril valley.

At 9:30 am, we'll meet outside the Asador Romero, located 5 kilometers from the center of Castril. After introductions, we will travel in our own vehicles, following the guide to the starting point of the route.

We will soon arrive at the gorge of El Buitre, part of the Sierra de Castril natural park, featuring waterfalls and narrow walls ideal for canyoning. After equipping ourselves with the necessary gear, we will conduct a brief theoretical class covering safety measures before beginning the adventure.

During the tour, participants will experience nine different rappels, including two that are approximately 100 feet (30 meters) long. The activity also offers views of the natural surroundings.

The return is straightforward; we will climb a slope to reach a dirt track near where we parked our vehicles.

We will conclude the activity at 12:30 pm in the parking lot of the Buitre gorge.
