Get to know the coast of Cantabria from a different perspective with this boat trip through Castro Urdiales. You'll see remains of the Civil War and one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Spain.

Castro Urdiales Boat Tour

We'll meet at the jetty in front of the Lonja de Pescado (fish market) of Castro Urdiales. There, we'll board a semi-rigid boat and start a cruise across the Cantabrian Sea.

We'll begin by crossing the waters of the district of Mioño, where we'll see the old mineral loading dock, remnants of Civil War defenses, and views of the eastern coast of Cantabria.

Our journey will continue near the beach of Ostende until we reach the cliff with the cemetery of La Ballena, recognized as the most beautiful cemetery in Spain in 2017.

If conditions are favorable, we will stop a mile from the coast for a swim in the Cantabrian Sea before returning, allowing you to enjoy the water away from crowded beaches.

After approximately 30 minutes of swimming, we'll conclude our trip back at the starting point, docking an hour and a half after setting sail.
