On this snorkeling tour, you'll discover the past of Castro Urdiales while diving in shallow waters along the eastern coast of Cantabria.
Castro Urdiales Snorkeling Tour
At 6 pm, we'll meet at the San Guillen ramp, next to the stone bridge, to start this snorkeling experience in Castro Urdiales.
We will prepare all the snorkeling equipment and then provide a brief explanation on how to use the materials. Once equipped, we will set sail in a small boat towards the dive site.
During this experience, we will discover cannons and ammunition remains from the Napoleonic period sunk under the castle of Castro Urdiales, as well as remnants from the castreño mining past that have shaped the coastline of this town.
The snorkeling experience will last approximately one hour, during which we'll learn more about the underwater world around Castro Urdiales.
Lastly, at 8 pm, we will conclude the activity by returning to the meeting point.
