Canchaque Day Trip

Want to get to know the Switzerland of Peru? On this day trip to Canchaque, we'll learn about the history of this town and discover its natural highlights!

Day Trip Details

Between 6 and 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Piura and then head to Canchaque, with a bus ride of approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short break for breakfast on your own. Afterwards, we'll start a walking route to discover the landscapes of this town known for its extensive hillsides of lush vegetation.

We'll first visit the suspension bridge for views of Limón Creek. Then, we'll continue to the viewpoint of Huayanay hill. Afterward, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Post-lunch, we'll embark on a short hike to Los Peroles de Mishahuaca, a waterfall of crystal-clear waters divided into three levels, requiring a 20-minute walk to reach.

The tour will conclude with a walk through the historic center of Canchaque, where we’ll explore the Plaza de Armas and the narrow streets, learning about its history.

Finally, we will drop you back off at your hotel between 7 and 7:30 pm.
