Join this guided tour of Catania with a wine tasting, where we’ll explore the flavors of Sicily while strolling through its historic center.

Tour Details

We will meet in Piazza Duomo and set off to discover the wine and cultural heritage of Catania. The tour begins by visiting the square’s main landmarks, including the Cathedral of Sant'Agata and the Fontana dell'Elefante.

Next, we'll head to Pescheria, the old fish market of Catania, where we will experience the local culture. Here, we will have our first wine tasting with a glass of wine paired with local delicacies such as caponata, olives, cheese, or cold meats.

Afterward, we will visit Castello Ursino to admire its exterior, and then proceed to Piazza Mazzini to learn about its history and view its noble buildings.

In the final part of the tour, we will stop at via Crociferi for a second wine tasting accompanied by appetizers and a dessert, tasting a total of three wines: an Etna Bianco, an Etna Rosso, and a fortified sweet wine. The tour lasts 2.5 hours, concluding on via Crociferi.
