We'll meet at Piazza dell'Università to begin our guided tour. The tour will start with an introduction to the city's origins and events like the lava flow in 1669 and the earthquake in 1693.
Next, we will walk to Piazza del Duomo and the Elephant Fountain to learn about Liotru, Catania's iconic elephant. We'll also visit the Catania Cathedral and the Town Hall courtyard, which honor Agatha of Sicily, the town's patron saint.
