Discover the marvels of the north of Etna National Park on this 4x4 tour of Monti Sartorius. Plus, we'll visit Thieve's Cave. It will be an unforgettable experience!

Description

At the time indicated, we'll meet at Piazza dei Martiri. Here, we'll board a 4x4 and begin our journey to Etna National Park.

We will explore the less frequented paths in the park, sharing information about the history, culture, and traditions associated with one of the most famous volcanoes in Italy. You’ll learn about the local flora and fauna, and the landscape changes due to Etna's eruptions.

After the initial part of the 4x4 tour, we will stop in Milo, the highest town in the park, offering views of the Ionic Sea, Taormina, and the volcano's crater. Bring your camera.

We will then head to Monti Sartorius, comprising 7 inactive craters formed during the 1865 eruption. We will explore this area adorned with white birch trees, a noted natural point of interest in Sicily.

After a brief stop at a mountain refuge, we will engage in a special activity. We will exit the 4x4, put on helmets, and enter Thieve's Cave, a small lava tunnel from Prehistory.

To conclude, we will return to the 4x4 and travel to Zafferana Etnea, where we can sample Sicilian delicacies like honey, wine, and various liquors.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point in Catania and complete this 4.5-hour tour.
