Noto, Ragusa, & Modica Day Trip

On this day trip to Noto, Ragusa, and Modica, you will explore three locations representing the essence of the Sicilian Baroque.

Day Trip Details

Pickup will be at your hotel in Catania at the designated time. The trip begins in Noto, referred to as "The Stone Garden" for its Baroque architecture. Key sites include the Church of St Nicholas (Noto Cathedral) and the Church of San Domenico, both examples of 18th-century design.

Next, we will visit Ibla, the historic area of Ragusa, where you can view the facade of San Giuseppe and the Chiesa del Purgatorio. This area features stairways, alleys, and scenic vistas.

The tour proceeds to Modica, known for its culinary heritage and churches. You will see the Duomo of San Giorgio and have free time to explore the town and dine.

Modica is also famous for its chocolate, and we will visit several popular chocolate stores that produce the unique Aztec-origin chocolate delicacy.

After 8 hours, the day trip concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.
