Day Trip Details

We will pick you up at your hotel in Catania at the scheduled time to begin this journey into the Sicilian Baroque.

Our first destination will be Noto, known as "The Stone Garden" for its Baroque architecture. While walking its streets, you will encounter the notable Church of St Nicholas or Noto Cathedral, and the Church of San Domenico, key examples of 18th-century design.

Next, we will visit Ibla, the oldest part of Ragusa. Here, you will see the facade of San Giuseppe and the Chiesa del Purgatorio, amidst a scenic setting of staircases and alleyways.

Our journey continues to Modica, celebrated not only for its churches but also for its culinary heritage. You will have the opportunity to admire the impressive Duomo of San Giorgio. Free time will be provided to explore the town and enjoy local food.

Additionally, we will visit some of Modica's popular chocolate stores that produce chocolate of Aztec origin, a distinctive treat.

After 8 hours, the trip will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel.
