The Godfather Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Catania and embark on a minibus to explore the set locations from the filming of The Godfather. After an hour's drive, we will arrive in the medieval town of Savoca for a guided tour of the historic center. This includes the Church of St. Nicholas, the site of Michael and Apollonia's wedding, and Bar Vitelli, where you can sit in Al Pacino's chair. The bar has remained largely unchanged for 40 years.

During the Savoca tour, we will also visit a viewpoint featuring a sculpture honoring director Francis Ford Coppola, offering a view of the Ionian Sea.

Next, we will travel to Forza d'Agrò, exploring the historic center and admiring the milestones such as the Church of the Holy Trinity and the Church of the Annunciation, which appeared in the second and third installments of The Godfather, and served as the backdrop for Michael Corleone's hometown.

Our final stop will be in Taormina, where you'll have approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for lunch and free time to explore the historic center, including Palazzo Corvaja, the Clock Tower, the Ancient Theatre, the Cathedral, and more.

The tour concludes with our return to your hotel after a total duration of between 7 and 8 hours.
