If you're in Caucaia and have experience in kitesurfing, this activity on the Ceará coastline is recommended due to its optimal landscapes and winds.

Options

When booking, you can choose between 2 options, both including pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Cumbuco Beach or an agreed meeting point:

Kitesurfing at Cauípe Lagoon

This option involves traveling 7 km (4.34 miles) to Cauípe Lagoon, where you'll have 6 hours of free time for kitesurfing. The lagoon's beach setup allows for ideal wind conditions, making it a popular spot for kitesurfers. The total duration of this option is 6.5 hours.

Kitesurfing at Cumbuco

This choice is for more experienced kitesurfers, traveling approximately 45 km (27 miles) to Cumbuco Beach. You'll receive guidance on where to obtain refreshments such as fruit or water. This option offers a full day of kitesurfing between Pecém harbour and various scenic locations, including departed beaches known for excellent waves. Total duration is also 6.5 hours.

Hotel pickup

Pickup and drop-off are included for hotels on Cumbuco Beach. If staying elsewhere in Caucaia, alternative meeting points will be arranged.

Requirements

To rent kitesurfing equipment, instructors will assess your experience. A responsibility waiver must be signed on the day of the tour.
