Day Trip Overview

Your excursion begins with pickup from your hotel in Fortaleza at the specified time. The journey spans approximately 110 kilometers (68 miles) to the breathtaking Lagoinha Beach, celebrated as one of Ceará's most picturesque coastal locations—a true beach lover's paradise.

On our way, we will pass through the quaint village of Lagoinha, renowned for its curving beach accented by lush coconut groves. Interestingly, the area's name "Lagoinha" comes from the many freshwater lagoons present in the region. Local folklore suggests it was once a refuge for pirates and smugglers.

As we arrive at the beach, our day of adventure will commence, allowing you to engage in three thrilling activities: a buggy ride, a catamaran boating experience, and a ride on a traditional "pau-de-arara" truck.

We will start with an exciting buggy ride across the dunes, making stops at scenic viewpoints and Jegue Lagoon for photographs and to appreciate the stunning landscape. Next, we will proceed to Almecegas Lagoon, where you can enjoy approximately 30 minutes of leisure to swim in its serene waters.

Here at the lagoon, you will board a catamaran for a serene crossing to the far side. Once we arrive, the "pau-de-arara" truck will await us for the concluding segment of our journey—an expedition through the heart of Lagoinha. Throughout this ride, we will delve into fascinating details about the region, leading us back to where our buggy adventure began.

The total duration of these three activities is around two hours. Following this thrilling experience, you’ll have the opportunity for some free time to unwind and bask in the beauty of Lagoinha Beach until 4 pm, when we will reconvene to commence our trip back to Fortaleza.

Ultimately, after approximately ten hours filled with amazing activities, we will return to your hotel for farewell.
