Get ready for an incredible hiking adventure on Mount San Liberatore, starting at via Giuseppe de Rosa in Cave de' Tirreni. This route promises breathtaking panoramic views of the Gulf of Salerno.

After lacing up our boots, we'll trek from Cave de' Tirreni to the summit, standing 500 meters above sea level, for an awe-inspiring perspective of the Amalfi Coast.

The medium-low difficulty trail will take approximately an hour and a half to reach the top. Once there, you can take a break and soak in the vistas of Salerno, Vietri sul Mare, and Cava de' Tirreni. The contrast of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the lush green mountains is remarkable.

At the summit, you'll find an 18-meter iron cross and the hermitage dedicated to the martyr of San Liberatore, a church from the early tenth century. We will explore the history of these monuments and the port of Salerno's maritime heritage.

Afterward, we'll descend back to the starting point, concluding the hike approximately three hours after we began.
