We will gather at 10 am on Rua Borba Gato in Cavalcante. After a thorough briefing on safety protocols, we’ll equip ourselves with helmets, life vests, and necessary rafting gear.

Next, we'll prepare the rafts and embark on our adventure down the river within Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. The journey spans 14 kilometers (8.7 miles), during which we will tackle five rapids, including the exhilarating Funil do Paranã rapid that promises to boost your adrenaline levels!

Midway through our voyage, we'll take a break to dock the rafts and enjoy a chance to relax and refresh ourselves with a swim in the river. After some relaxation, we’ll return to the rafts and continue paddling toward the native Kalunga community, where we will have the opportunity to visit one of the community member's homes.

Here, a traditional Kalunga lunch awaits us, featuring a delicious array of local dishes such as rice, beans, pasta, farofa, fresh salad, fried plantain, cassava, chicken, and organic eggs. It will be a delightful feast!

Post-lunch, we’ll pay a visit to the Tia Lió Kalunga Memorial and engage in conversation with the matriarch Laia Procópia, recognized as a Nobel Peace Prize nominee for her advocacy in protecting the Quilombo Kalunga territory.

To conclude our adventure, we will walk back to our departure point in Cavalcante, with an estimated arrival time of 4 pm.
