River Trekking + Tubing

Join us on an unforgettable water adventure in Chapada dos Veadeiros - we'll trek along a breathtaking river, crossing waterfalls and canyons, and then go tubing down the rapids. You'll have a blast!

River Trekking + Tubing

The adventure will begin at 10 am at Rua Borba Gato de Cavalcante, where we'll meet and then walk together to the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park entrance.

The first activity will take place along the San Bartolomé River - we'll set off on a 3-kilometer (1.86-mile) water hike upriver. Along the route, we'll cross multiple waterfalls and breathtaking canyons characteristic of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, a major nature reserve in the interior of Brazil.

After the river trek, we'll continue with a tubing activity in the Almas River. We'll float on tubes down a stretch of 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles), which includes several sections with rapids.

The tubing activity will conclude at a beach in the Bacupari Reserve. In this tranquil setting, we'll enjoy a picnic that includes a sandwich, a slice of cake, fruit juice, and coffee.

Finally, after lunch, we'll walk back to Cavalcante. Arrival back at the meeting point is scheduled for 3 pm.
