Jaguar Paw Park Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Line

Pickup from your accommodation in San Ignacio begins at 8 a.m., followed by a one-hour drive to Jaguar Paw Park. A ten-minute walk leads to the zip line facilities.

After a brief instructor overview, participants will put on helmets and harnesses to begin the zip line experience. Cables reach heights of 500 feet as you glide over the jungle. The journey includes reaching the entrance of Cristal Cave, where a descent of 150 feet takes you to its limestone base, a site considered sacred by the Mayans.

A lunch consisting of rice, beans, chicken, and fried plantain will be provided for half an hour. After lunch, you will wade along the Rama de Cuevas River, which features various grottoes for cave tubing. Participants will float on rubber rings to witness springs and crystallized caverns, creating an unforgettable experience.

The return to San Ignacio will conclude at your hotel by 5 p.m.

Who can take part in the activity?

Participants must be at least 1 meter (3.2 ft) tall and able to swim.
