Olive Grove & Oil Mill Experience + Tasting

At the designated meeting point, we will gather at Oleotour Cazorla to kick off an insightful tour focused on the rich heritage of olive oil. Here, we will explore its history, diverse types, and production methods.

The tour begins with an overview of the olive culture specific to Cazorla, a region in Jaén famous for its premium olive oil.

Next, we will proceed to the outdoor areas to familiarize ourselves with the three key varieties grown in the region: Picual, Royal, and Acebuche. As we wander through the olive trees, we will appreciate the stunning mountainous landscape surrounding us.

Throughout the experience, we will visit various sections of the facility, including the bodega, the production area, and a museum showcasing a recreated oil mill. To round off our visit, we will participate in a tasting session featuring 2-3 distinct types of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Our exploration will also take us to the bottling area, followed by a shop offering products crafted using the complex’s exclusive Royal variety of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. After two enriching hours spent engaging with the intricacies of olive oil production, we will conclude our tour.
