The Tagus International Natural Park is located in Extremadura. This boat ride includes a visit to the town of Castelo Branco in Portugal.
Tour Details
Participants will meet at the specified time at the Cedillo dock, where a boat will be ready for the journey through the Tagus International Natural Park. The exploration includes a one-hour sail on the Ponsul River, complemented by crew commentary on local wildlife.
After navigating the river, the boat will cross into Portugal and reach the town of Lentiscais. Participants will then board a bus to Castelo Branco.
In Castelo Branco, there will be 5.5 to 6 hours of free time to explore the town, known for its connections to the Templars. Recommended visits include the ruins of the fortress of Castelo Branco and its picturesque gardens. In the summer, the Piscina Paria is also a potential visit.
Following the exploration, participants will return by bus to Lentiscais dock and then by boat to Cedillo. The total duration of the activity will be between 8 and 9 hours.
