Etna and Taormina Day Trip

On this day trip to Mount Etna and Taormina, we'll travel from Cefalu to enjoy a day surrounded by Sicilian wonders. You can visit the Greco-Roman Theatre and try some local cuisine. Don't miss out!

Description

We'll pick you up at the meeting point in Cefalu at the specified time and head to Etna, the most famous volcano in Sicily and one of the most active in the World. During the ascent by bus, you'll enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.

We'll follow a route around the volcano's cone to admire its craters and vents, where you can see vapour escape. According to Greek mythology, the Forge of Hephaestus is located here.

After the tour of Etna, you'll have some free time to go on the cable car and then in a 4x4 to reach 3000 metres (9842 feet).

Then, we'll travel to Taormina, known for its Greco-Roman theatre. We'll take a guided tour around the centre of Taormina, followed by more free time.

You'll have the chance to visit the Taormina Theatre or enjoy some free time to try some Sicilian dishes or go shopping.

Finally, we'll return to Cefalu and drop you off at your hotel 13 hours after the initial pickup.
