Nasrid Handicrafts Workshop Visit

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Santa Ana street in Cenes de la Vega. The visit to the Nasrid handicraft workshop will begin with a tour of its facilities, providing insight into the daily work conducted here.

We will observe how artisans create sketches for pieces that will be modeled with plaster. These Nasrid artworks serve as replicas to decorate significant monuments such as the Alhambra in Granada, the Casa de Pilatos, or the Real Alcázar in Seville. Original pieces are often placed in museums for better preservation.

During the visit, we will learn about Nasrid art and the role of geometry in its design. We will examine the materials and various techniques employed in these handicrafts.

The experience will include a history and art lesson, showcasing the creation of true masterpieces and the restoration of Cultural Heritage conducted by the workshop.

After one and a half hours, we will conclude the activity outside the workshop.
