Nasrid Handicrafts Workshop Visit

At the time of your choice we'll meet at Santa Ana street in Cenes de la Vega. There we'll welcome you at the Nasrid handicraft workshop and start touring its facilities to discover the daily work performed there.

We'll see how the artisans elaborate the sketches of the pieces that will be modeled with plaster. These Nasrid works are used as replicas to decorate important monuments such as the Alhambra in Granada, the Casa de Pilatos, or the Real Alcázar in Seville. Original pieces are often sent to museums for preservation.

During this visit, we'll learn about Nasrid art and the significance of geometry in the designs. We'll observe the materials and different techniques used in these handicrafts.

We'll experience a comprehensive history and art lesson, witnessing the creation of true masterpieces. Additionally, we'll learn about the restoration of Cultural Heritage performed by this workshop.

After an hour and a half of visit, we'll conclude the activity with a goodbye outside the workshop.
