Hair of Venus Waterfalls Excursion

Around 3 pm, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Palinuro and set off to the famous Hair of Venus waterfalls, or the Capelli di Venere, located within Cilento National Park. We'll travel towards Casaletto Spartano, a town in the Oasi Capello area. Upon arrival, we will take the wooded path along the river to the end of the Rio Casaletto Valley.

At the end of the path, we will encounter the Hair of Venus waterfalls. The tour includes a narration about the legend behind the name. Surrounded by lush vegetation, participants can enjoy the view of the waterfalls and the light filtering through the trees. An old Norman stone bridge can also be seen in the area, providing a picturesque backdrop for photos.

After visiting the waterfalls, we will proceed to an old water mill, where there is an area with tables for relaxation and refreshments. Following the break, we'll take the bus back to your hotel in Palinuro, concluding the four-hour excursion.
