Gagauzia & the Manuc Bey Mansion Day Trip

On this day trip to Gaguzia and the Mansion of Manuc Bey, we'll explore Moldova's culture and traditions.

Description

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chisinau and travel to the town of Hânce?ti in central western Moldova.

After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll arrive at the Mansion of Manuc Bey, an expansive complex in Hânce?ti, featuring Manuc's Palace, the Steward's House, the hunting lodge of Countess Çad?r, and a watch tower.

We'll explore this 19th-century palace, notable for its architecture inspired by French classicism, and appreciate its galleries and luxurious ambiance.

Following our visit, we'll head to Gagauzia, a village rich in history and customs, home to the Gagauz people. We'll gain insights about their culture before proceeding to the neighbouring village of Congaz.

In Congaz, you'll have free time to sample traditional local food, with a recommendation to visit Gagauz Sofrasi, known for traditional dishes in a modern Gagauz setting.

After lunch, we will return to Chisinau, arriving at your hotel by 6 pm.
