Soroca Day Trip

On this day trip to Soroca, we'll visit a 15th-century fort and the Romani quarter.

Description

At 9 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Chisinau, followed by a 2-hour bus ride to Soroca.

En route, there will be a stop at the Thanksgiving Candle, a 30m (98 ft) monument on a rocky cliff, honoring the heroes who preserved Moldova's culture and history.

Next, we'll visit the village of Soroca to explore the 15th-century fort, a significant stronghold during the reign of Stephen the Great. After the visit, time will be provided for lunch.

Following lunch, we will head to the Romani quarter, where visitors can see elaborate castle-like mansions, often three floors tall, constructed from marble and granite. This section will offer insight into the local culture.

On the return trip to Chisinau, there will be a stop in the village of Ghindesti to visit a local brewery.

You will be dropped off at your hotel approximately nine hours after pickup.
