Soroca Day Trip

On this day trip to Soroca, we will visit a 15th-century fort and the Romani quarter to discover Moldovan culture.

Description

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Chisinau, followed by a 2-hour bus ride to Soroca.

During the journey, we will stop at the Thanksgiving Candle, a 30m (98 ft) monument honoring the anonymous heroes of Moldovan culture, language, and history.

We will then proceed to the village of Soroca to explore the 15th-century fort, an essential stronghold during the reign of Stephen the Great, overlooking the Dniester River. After the visit, there will be time for lunch.

Following lunch, we will head to the Romani quarter, where you can see unique castle-like mansions and learn about the district's culture and significance to local residents.

On the return trip to Chisinau, we will visit a local brewery in the village of Ghindesti.

You'll be dropped off at your hotel nine hours after the initial pickup.
