We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:20 am to head towards the province of Bongará, north of Chachapoyas.

After a two-hour drive, we'll arrive in the district of Cuispes, where we'll start a low-intensity hike to reach our destination. We'll ascend to an altitude of 895 meters (2936 feet) on a hiking route of one and a half hours, while observing the area’s biodiversity.

This protected area is home to wild flora species including orchids, bromeliads, and passion flowers; mammals such as the spectacled bear and possums; and a total of 223 species of birds, including the endangered spatula-tailed hummingbird.

Finally, we arrive at the Yumbilla waterfall. This spectacular waterfall, measuring 895 meters (29376 feet) high, is recognized as the second-highest waterfall in Peru and the fifth-highest in the world.

You'll have some free time in this area to relax and take pictures. After some time, we'll transfer to the village of Pedro Ruiz for a regional two-course lunch.

After lunch, we'll return to Chachapoyas, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 3:30 pm.
