If you want to get to know the coffee tradition of the Pasco region, don't miss this coffee tour through Villa Rica, one of the main coffee bean-producing cities in Peru.

Villa Rica Coffee Tour

First we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Merced at 8:30 am to head towards Villa Rica, the coffee town of the Pasco region.

After a road trip of just over an hour, we'll cross the Paucatambo bridge and enter Villa Rica.

We'll start with a sightseeing tour of Villa Rica, visiting its main square, including a giant sculpture in the shape of a coffee pot, commemorating the province's coffee-growing tradition.

Afterwards, we'll go to a local coffee shop to taste an aromatic coffee from Villa Rica, followed by free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll visit the El Oconal lagoon to observe the biodiversity of this ecosystem and enjoy a fish spa treatment, known as ichthyotherapy.

You will also have free time at the lagoon to explore the surroundings and participate in activities such as paddle boat rides. Finally, we'll return to La Merced and drop you off at your hotel at around 6:30 pm.
