Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake Tour

Starting at the gates of Rock Garden, we will see thousands of sculptures made from recycled materials. You will learn about the creation of the park by a local artist in 1960, who transformed collected glass and plastic into art.

The project by Nek Chand features paths, waterfalls, and sculptures, symbolizing the city, with more than 5000 visitors each day.

Next, we will visit Nagar Van forest park, also known as City Forest, ideal for hiking enthusiasts. Discover various trails, a bridge, and a cabin in this serene environment, home to over 20 bird species.

Then, we will proceed to the Lake Sukhna reservoir, established in 1958 by damming a stream from the Sivalik Hills at the foot of the Himalayas. This scenic area serves as a popular recreation spot for Chandigarh residents.

Our tour concludes after approximately 2 hours on the shores of Lake Sukhna.
