Minoan's World 3D Museum and 9D Cinema

9D cinema exists and you can find it at Minoan's World in Chania! Experience a nine-dimensional movie featuring vibrating seats, wind, snow, rain, smoke, bubbles, and lightning. Visitors will be assigned seats to watch the film that showcases Greek mythology and important historical events, including the origins of Knossos and the labyrinth of the Minotaur.

After the 9D movie, you can visit the exhibitions of the Minoan's World 3D Museum featuring interactive sculptures and murals. Typically, guests watch the film before touring the museum, but the order of the visit may vary based on theatre availability.

Opening times

When making your reservation, you must select the time you wish to visit Minoan's World. The operating hours are as follows:

Monday to Saturday: October 28 to November 4, from 11 am to 5 pm, with shows every half hour; the last show at 4.30 pm.Monday to Saturday: November 5 to November 30, from 11 am to 4 pm, with shows every half hour; the last show at 3.30 pm.

The movie headsets are available in 11 languages: English, Greek, German, Polish, Russian, Dutch, French, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish.

Children under 3 years old

All ages are welcome! Children under 3 years old go free if they sit on a parent or guardian's lap during the film. If a separate seat is needed, a child's ticket must be purchased.
