Leaving Apokoronas first thing in the morning, you'll head to Aptera. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you'll explore the historic Ottoman fortress and enjoy panoramic views of Souda Bay.

After Aptera, you'll proceed to Gavalochori to visit the Historical & Folklore Museum and learn about Cretan traditions and handcrafted objects, including a demonstration of the local knitting technique Kopaneli?.

Next, you will stop at the hamlet of Xirosterni for a visit to a local 'raki' distillery. Then you'll arrive in Vrises for Greek coffee by the riverside.

Then, you will reach Emprosneros, home to the ruins of Alidakis and a hidden church built into the rock. Here, you can taste various types of Cretan cheese: graviera, mizithra, and anthotyros.

You will also see Vafes, Vatoudiatis, and Alikampos before concluding at Fres, where you'll learn about Cretan myths and legends and enjoy a meal in a Greek tavern.
