Leaving Apokoronas early in the morning, you'll travel to Aptera, where your English-speaking guide will lead you to the historic Ottoman fortress for panoramic views of Souda Bay.

Next, you will visit Gavalochori and the Historical & Folklore Museum, which showcases Cretan traditions and handcrafted objects. You will also observe a demonstration of the local Kopaneli? knitting technique.

Your journey continues to Xirosterni, home to a local 'raki' distillery producing traditional spirits. The next stop will be Vrises, where you can enjoy Greek coffee by the riverside.

After a break, you'll reach Emprosneros, known for its ruins of Alidakis and a hidden church in the rock, along with samples of local Cretan cheese varieties: graviera, mizithra, and anthotyros.
