Meet us at the Historic Rosedale at the scheduled time as we set off on a guided tour through the grounds of this historic 1815 Federal-style home.

We will learn the history behind this former private residence, owned by the same family for five generations. After renovations in 1993, the site opened to the public, inviting visitors to explore the house and its 9 acres of gardens.

Throughout the tour, we will discuss various facts about the house and the surrounding area. We will enter the 15-room estate to uncover insights into the Antebellum period in the United States. The rooms feature architectural and decorative motifs from this era and details left by past generations.

We will then move into the gardens area, which includes boxwood plants dating back to 1815 and rose bushes planted in the 1950s. You are free to explore the grounds at your own pace.

The tour will conclude 1 hour later after immersing ourselves in the tranquil atmosphere at Rosedale.
