Meet us at the Historic Rosedale at the scheduled time as we set off on a guided tour through the grounds of this 1815 Federal-style home!

We will delve into the history of this former private residence, which has been owned by the same family for five generations. After renovations in 1993, the site opened to the public, inviting visitors to explore the house and its 9 acres of gardens.

During the tour, we will discuss various facts about the house and the surrounding area. We will enter the 15-room estate to gain insights into the historic Antebellum period in the United States, observing architectural and decorative motifs and details left by previous generations.

Next, we will explore the gardens area, where you can wander at your own pace among the well-manicured greenery, including boxwood plants from 1815 and rose bushes planted in the 1950s.

After fully immersing ourselves in the tranquil atmosphere at Rosedale, we will conclude the tour 1 hour later.
