Meet us at the Historic Rosedale at the scheduled time for a guided tour through the grounds of this historic 1815 Federal-style home. We will learn the history behind this former private residence, owned by the same family for five generations. After a significant renovation in 1993, the site opened to the public, allowing exploration of the house and its 9 acres of gardens.

During the tour, we will discuss facts about the house and surrounding area. We will enter the 15-room estate to gain further insights into the historic Antebellum period in the United States. The rooms feature architectural and decorative motifs from that era as well as details left by each generation that lived here.

Next, we will move into the gardens area. Here, visitors can explore the grounds at their own pace, taking in the boxwood plants from 1815 and rose bushes thriving since the 1950s. After immersing ourselves in the tranquility of Rosedale, we will conclude the tour 1 hour later.
