When booking, you can choose between two different options. Both include pickup at your hotel in Chaves at 9 am, an English-speaking guide, and return transfer. Below are the details of each option:

Tour of Chaves, Boticas, and Montealegre

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chaves to start this tour of the Trás-os-Montes region. We'll go to Alto Tâmega to visit some of its villages. The first stop will be Montalegre, home to a 13th-century castle. After visiting the castle, we'll explore the Montalegre Ecomuseum for insights into its history and heritage.

The next stop will be Boticas, where we will visit the Rural Museum to see old agricultural tools and ethnographic objects. You will have one hour of free time in Boticas for lunch to taste the local gastronomy.

Afterward, we'll visit Chaves, known for its medieval fortress and landmarks like the Roman bridge of Trajano and the thermal baths before concluding the tour at your hotels by 5 pm.

Tour of Chaves, Valpaços, and Vila Pouca de Aguiar

This option starts similarly with a visit to Chaves. Next, we'll head to Vila Pouca de Aguiar, where we'll explore the Parque de Pedras Salgadas, a natural beauty spot. The tour continues to Valpaços, where we'll visit the Wine Museum to learn about local wine tradition. The tour also concludes at 5 pm at your hotel.
