Tour of Chaves, Boticas, and Montealegre
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chaves to start this tour of the region of Trás-os-Montes. We'll go to Alto Tâmega to visit some of its most beautiful villages.
The first stop will be Montalegre, known for its castle from the 13th century. We'll visit the Montalegre Ecomuseum to learn about the town's history and heritage.
Next, we'll visit Boticas, a picturesque village. Here, we'll tour the Rural Museum to see old agricultural tools and other ethnographic objects. After this visit, you'll have one hour of free time in Boticas for lunch and to taste the Portuguese gastronomy.
After the break, we'll visit Chaves, where we'll see its medieval fortress and the Roman bridge of Trajano, concluding the tour at 5 pm.
Tour of Chaves, Valpaços, and Vila Pouca de Aguiar
This option starts with a visit to Chaves, similar to the previous tour. From there, we'll go to Vila Pouca de Aguiar to visit the Parque de Pedras Salgadas, a forest of great natural beauty.
