Let yourself be enchanted by Morocco's Blue City on this private guided tour of Chefchaouen, one of the most beautiful destinations in the Rif Mountains.

Private Tour Details

Indigo, cobalt, azure, sapphire, turquoise... whichever synonym you prefer, one single colour stands out in Chefchaouen: blue. At your preferred time, meet your guide in front of Hotel Madrid, where our walking tour of the city's picturesque historic centre will begin.

We will walk through the Spanish Quarter of Chefchaouen, learning about the connections between Spain and Morocco. Your English-speaking guide will reveal the city's history while you admire its architecture.

Next, we will visit the old Medina. Walking through the cobbled streets, you will see the façades of the Place Outa Hammam, the Kasbah, and the Great Mosque. We will also view the old gates in the city wall: Bab El Ain, Bab Souk and Bab Onsar. You'll discover the iconic blue houses of Chefchaouen and learn about the decision to paint them blue.

At the end of your two-and-a-half-hour walking tour, we will return to Place Mohammed V or you may choose to finish the tour by the souk or another location in the old town.
