Hike Details

Escape the city heat and explore Morocco's lush nature, enjoying a dip in the famous Akchour Waterfalls. At the indicated time on the excursion day, you will be picked up from your hotel to take a taxi. After a 35-minute drive, you will reach Akchour, a village in the Rif Mountains.

Upon arrival in this protected area, you will start a hiking trail through Talassemtane. This two-hour trek culminates at the Akchour Waterfalls, where you will experience the sounds of water crashing into natural pools below. You can enjoy a refreshing dip before having lunch by the waterfalls. Bring your own picnic or opt for a tajine from local food stalls.

After lunch, a new hiking route will take you to one of the Talassemtane National Park entrances. You will take a taxi back to Chefchaouen, returning after 7 hours of adventure.

Pickup

This activity includes pickup from accommodations in central Chefchaouen. For those not staying in this area, pickup will be arranged from Hotel Madrid.

Itinerary changes

Seasonal variations may affect waterfall water flow. If this occurs, you can still visit the waterfalls and hike, or opt for a combo trip featuring smaller waterfalls and God's Bridge.
