Hike Details

Take a break from the city heat and escape into Morocco's lush natural landscapes, enjoying a dip in the Akchour Waterfalls. On the day of your excursion, pickup will be from your hotel at the specified time, and after a 35-minute drive, we'll reach Akchour, located in the Rif Mountains.

Once at this protected area, we'll set off on a hiking trail through Talassemtane. Our two-hour trek leads to the magnificent Akchour Waterfalls. Enjoy the sound of the waters crashing into the natural pools below. We will head to the waterfall for a refreshing dip and lunch with a view. You may bring your own picnic or opt for a tajine from local food stalls.

After lunch, we'll start a new hiking route to one of the entrances of Talassemtane National Park. A taxi will take us back to Chefchaouen, and we will arrive after 7 hours of adventure.

Pickup

This activity includes pickup from accommodation in the centre of Chefchaouen. If outside this area, pickup will be at the indicated time from Hotel Madrid.

Itinerary changes

During certain times of the year, the waterfalls may have reduced water flow. In such cases, you can choose to visit the waterfalls or opt for a combo trip that includes both the smaller waterfalls and God's Bridge.

Who can participate in this activity?

The minimum age for this tour is 15 years old.A good level of physical fitness is required.This tour is not suitable for individuals with heart or back problems or for pregnant women.
