Tour Details

This tour begins at the entrance to Hotel Madrid, where we will board a minibus to leave Chefchaouen. A 35-minute drive will lead us to Knadel Cave, one of the most enigmatic caves in the Rif Mountains, located in Talassemtane National Park.

At Knadel Cave, known as Ghar Knadel in Arabic, we will equip ourselves with helmets and other necessary gear before starting our caving adventure. During the exploration, participants will learn about basic geology and observe various stalactites and stalagmites, while also seeing a labyrinthine network of underground galleries. The cave features striking colors in the limestone rock, ranging from brown and ochre to pink and white.

Your English-speaking guide will share fascinating legends related to Knadel Cave. The tour concludes with the return journey to Chefchaouen, approximately 7 hours after pickup.
