Dujiangyan Panda Base Volunteer Experience

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Chengdu and go directly to the Dujiangyan Panda Bear Reserve, approximately two hours away.

Upon arrival, we'll wear the uniform of the staff and tour the facilities where the panda bears live, set in a natural area with bamboo and vegetation.

Next, we will watch how the volunteers prepare panda food and then assist with other tasks, including preparing the animals' sleeping areas. Lunch will be in the employees' cafeteria.

After lunch, we'll view a documentary about panda bears and prepare a snack for the animals, a fruit and corn cake.

Lastly, we will make a brief stop at Dujiangyan Zhongshug, known for its impressive architecture and mirrors. After this, we will return to your hotel in Chengdu after 7 hours of activity.
