Activity Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Chengdu and go directly to the Dujiangyan Panda Bear Reserve, which is approximately two hours away.

Upon arrival, we'll wear the same uniform as the staff and tour the facilities where the panda bears live, in a natural area filled with bamboo and diverse vegetation.

Next, we'll observe how volunteers prepare the panda's food before feeding them. The bears have a varied diet beyond bamboo. After assisting with other tasks, such as preparing the sleeping areas for the animals, we'll have lunch in the employees' cafeteria.

After lunch, we'll watch a documentary about panda bears. Then, we will cook a snack for the animals—a fruit and corn cake they enjoy.

Lastly, we'll make our way back, stopping briefly at Dujiangyan Zhongshug, a notable bookstore known for its tall columns and extensive collection, enhanced by mirrors.

After 7 hours of activity, we'll return you to your hotel in Chengdu.
