Activity Details

Pick-up will be from your hotel in Chengdu, proceeding directly to the Dujiangyan Panda Bear Reserve, located approximately two hours away.

Upon arrival, you will don the same uniform as the staff and tour the facilities where the panda bears live. This area is natural, featuring bamboo and diverse vegetation.

Next, you will observe how the volunteers prepare the panda's food before feeding them. Pandas do not only eat bamboo. After assisting with other tasks, such as preparing areas for the animals' rest, lunch will be provided in the employees' cafeteria.

After lunch, a documentary about panda bears will be screened. You will then prepare a snack for the animals, a fruit and corn cake.

Finally, the return journey includes a brief stop at Dujiangyan Zhongshug, recognized as one of the most beautiful bookstores globally, noted for its tall columns and extensive mirror setups.

You will return to your hotel in Chengdu after a total of 7 hours of activity.
