Activity Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Chengdu and go directly to the Dujiangyan Panda Bear Reserve, located approximately two hours away.

Upon arrival at the reserve, we'll wear the same uniform as the staff and tour the facilities where the panda bears live. This area features bamboo and a variety of vegetation.

Next, we'll observe how volunteers prepare the panda's food for feeding. These bears have a diet that includes more than just bamboo. After assisting the staff with other tasks, such as prepping the sleeping areas for the animals, we'll have lunch in the employees' cafeteria.

After lunch, we'll watch a documentary about panda bears. Then, we will cook a snack for the pandas, a fruit and corn cake they enjoy.

Finally, we will return, making a brief stop at Dujiangyan Zhongshug, known as one of the most beautiful bookstores globally with tall columns and an expansive mirror effect.

We will take you back to your hotel in Chengdu after 7 hours of activity.

Minimum Age

Access to the Dujiangyan Panda Reserve is permitted only for individuals aged between 8 and 70.
