Private Tour of Chengdu & Panda Base

After picking you up at your hotel in Chengdu, we'll go to the famous Panda Bear Base, located on the outskirts of the city.

Once inside the reserve, we'll walk through this natural space where you'll have the opportunity to see the Chinese panda bears playing and eating bamboo while enjoying the local environment. You'll also learn interesting facts about them.

After 2 hours in the reserve, the tour will continue in the People's Park, a large public garden in the centre of Chengdu covering over 100,000 square meters. The park features various artificial lakes and traditional tea houses where you can sample tea along with some traditional sweets.

Our next stop will be Wide and Narrow Alley in Chengdu, where we'll explore some of the oldest buildings in Sichuan. After learning its history, we’ll head to a restaurant where you can dine at your own expense and try some authentic Chinese cuisine.

Finally, we'll conclude this 8-hour tour by returning to your hotel in Chengdu.

Important

Although not common, it's possible that entrance tickets for the panda base may be sold out due to high demand. To avoid this, we recommend not taking the tour during the main holidays in China, specifically 1st and 7th October.
