At 7 pm, we will meet at Fort St. George as the sun sets. The night tour begins with a history of this 17th-century building, the first British fortress in India.
Next, we visit St. Mary's Anglican Church, known for its white decoration and architecture. Following this, you will see the Victory War Memorial, which honors the Allies' triumph in both World Wars, illuminated by the sunset.
The tour continues across the Napier Bridge, the oldest in the city, and you will admire the architecture of the University of Madras, India's third oldest university. We will also visit the Anna Samadhi Memorial, where you will learn about Conjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, the last Chief Minister of Madras.
The last stop is the Statue of Work on Marina Beach, one of Chennai's liveliest districts. The tour concludes at 9 pm, allowing you to enjoy the nightlife afterward.
