Chester Sightseeing Bus

This double-decker open-top sightseeing bus offers incredible views of the main streets and tourist attractions in this Roman City. The route has 15 stops, allowing you to hop on and off at each as desired. Key sites include the best-preserved city walls in the UK, the medieval Rows, black and white Victorian houses, the renowned racecourse, and the River Dee.

On Mondays to Saturdays, the bus follows one route, while on Sundays it takes a different one. You can check the stops and routes separately.

How does it work?

The ticket is valid for either 24 or 48 hours after its first use. For instance, a 48-hour ticket activated on Monday at 3 pm will be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm. During this validity, you can hop on and off as much as needed to explore attractions like the medieval walls, Roman amphitheatre, and the famous Eastgate clock, the second most photographed clock in England after Big Ben.

Important

Upon ticket purchase, you must specify a date, but the ticket can be used within 12 months from that date. After booking, you will receive an email with a voucher to present on your first bus ride.

The sightseeing bus operates every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:48 pm.
