Chester Sightseeing Bus

This double-decker open-top sightseeing bus offers views of the main streets and tourist attractions in this Roman City. The route includes 15 stops, allowing you to hop on and off at each stop. Attractions include the best-preserved city walls in the UK, the medieval Rows, black and white Victorian houses, the racecourse, and the River Dee.

On Mondays to Saturdays, the bus follows one route, while on Sundays it follows a different route. Detailed information about stops and routes is provided upon request.

How does it work?

The ticket is valid for either 24 or 48 hours after the first use. For example, a 48-hour ticket activated on Monday at 3 pm is valid until Wednesday at 3 pm. During this period, you can hop on and off the bus to explore attractions like the medieval walls, the Roman amphitheatre, and the Eastgate clock, known for being one of the most photographed clocks in England.

Important

When you purchase a ticket, you must specify a date, but it can be used within 12 months after that date. An email with a voucher will be sent after booking, which must be presented on the first bus. The sightseeing bus operates every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:48 pm.
