Chester Sightseeing Bus

This double-decker open-top sightseeing bus provides views of the main streets and tourist attractions in this Roman City. The route has 15 stops, allowing you to hop on and off at each as you explore. Attractions include the best-preserved city walls in the UK, the unique medieval Rows, black and white Victorian houses, the racecourse, and the peaceful River Dee.

On Mondays to Saturdays, the sightseeing bus follows one route, while on Sundays it takes another. Check the stops and routes for more details.

How Does It Work?

The ticket is valid for 24 hours after first use. For instance, if used on Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. During this period, you can hop on and off the bus to explore attractions such as the medieval walls, the Roman amphitheatre, and the famous Eastgate clock, which is the most photographed clock in England after Big Ben.

Important Info

When purchasing a ticket, you must specify a date, but it can be used within 12 months of that date. After booking, you will receive an email with a voucher to present on your first bus ride. The sightseeing bus operates every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:48 pm.
