Chiang Rai Day Trip

On this day trip from Chiang Mai to the city of Chiang Rai, you will visit the White Temple, Blue Temple, and relax at the Mae Kachan Hot Springs. Additionally, immerse yourself in the culture of the Hill Tribe Long Neck village.

Tour Details

Meet us at 2-6 Rachadamnoen Rd to commence the day trip to Chiang Rai, surrounded by Thailand’s landscapes. After a comfortable 3-hour ride, we will start our visit at Mae Kajan Hot Springs, known for its healing waters. Bring your bathing suit.

Next, visit the Long Neck Hill Tribe Village, famous for women elongating their necks with brass rings, a practice of cultural significance. This visit lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes and incurs a supplemental fee of 300 THB. Alternatively, a nearby café is available for a short break.

Proceed to the White Temple, recognized for its white architecture. Our guide will explain the temple's features and glass work, representing Buddha's wisdom.

Continue to the Blue Temple, characterized by its blue facades and golden accents, adorned with dragon sculptures.

Finally, arrive at Hauyplakang Temple, known for its 9-tiered pagoda with Buddha statues. Ascending offers views of Thailand's green landscapes.

The return trip ends approximately 11 to 12 hours later.

Long Neck Hill Tribe Visit

The visit to the Long Neck Hill Tribe is optional and part of the itinerary. It incurs a fee of 300 THB. Non-participants can take a break at nearby cafes.
