Enjoy an unforgettable day trip to an elephant conservation center in Chiang Mai.
Description
Pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai occurs between 7 and 8 am, followed by breakfast. After a 1.5-hour drive, we arrive at the Elephant Conservation Center, where the center's managers will explain their conservation project. You'll have the opportunity to feed elephants cucumbers.
Following the feeding, we will walk 1.5 miles (2.5 km) alongside the elephants to a river, where you'll observe how they bathe. A vehicle will be waiting to take us to a nearby waterfall for a refreshing swim.
After swimming, we will visit a local restaurant for lunch, which typically includes a meat dish, papaya salad, fried rice, and vegetables, with vegan or vegetarian options available upon request.
We will return to your hotel in Chiang Mai, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.
Hotel pickup
Pickup is available for hotels within a 1.2-mile radius (2 km) of Chiang Mai. If your hotel is not included, you will need to go to one of the designated hotels for pickup, which will be confirmed upon booking.
