Upon booking, you have the option to select from the following tours. Each journey includes hotel pick-up in Chiang Rai between 8:30 and 8:45 am, along with a return transfer once the activity concludes.

Chiang Rai Surroundings Tour (4-5.5 hours)



This cycling journey will span a distance of 12 to 16 miles, taking us through the scenic rural landscapes surrounding Chiang Rai.



Throughout the ride, we will glide past charming villages and expansive rice paddies nestled along the banks of the Lao River. Here, we will gain insight into the lifestyle of the rural communities in northern Thailand, primarily engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. Midway through our adventure, we will pause at a local eatery to savor a delightful Thai lunch, featuring an array of regional specialties.



Following our meal, we will head back to your hotel, with expected arrival between 1 pm and 2 pm.

Tour to the White Temple and Surroundings (4-5.5 hours)



This cycling excursion commences in Chiang Rai and also spans a distance of 12 to 16 miles, weaving through rural communities along the Lao River.



Our next stop will be one of Chiang Rai’s most famous attractions: Wat Rong Khun, more commonly known as the White Temple. This unique structure merges Buddhist and Hindu motifs, showcasing animal figures entwined with sculptures representing natural elements such as fire, wind, and water.



After our shrine visit, we will replenish our energy with lunch at a nearby local restaurant, presenting an excellent chance to indulge in various Thai culinary delights!



Once recharged, a transfer back to your Chiang Rai hotel will follow, with our arrival anticipated between 1 and 2 pm.

Chiang Rai Surroundings and White Temple Tour (8-9.5 hours)



This extended cycling adventure will cover a distance of 27 to 34 miles. During the first segment of the tour, we will navigate through the nearby rural landscapes and also explore the White Temple.



Here, we will take a break at a restaurant close to the temple to enjoy a tasty Thai lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue our cycling journey, visiting a tea plantation situated on the outskirts of Chiang Rai, where you will discover the cultivation process of this popular beverage.



After our visit to the tea fields, we will return by bicycle to the city center to explore the local market and witness the renowned Sitting Buddha of Chiang Rai. Subsequently, we will transfer you back to your hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.

Pick-Up Information



All three tours mentioned above offer pick-up services from hotels located in central Chiang Rai. For those staying over three miles from the city center, the pick-up will be arranged at the entrance of the Wat Jed Yod temple.
