Chiang Rai Guided Tour
After being picked up from your hotel at 8:30 am on the day of your tour, you'll set off on your guided tour of Chiang Rai.
Thailand's northernmost province features enchanting architecture and fascinating culture representing the fusion of Thai and Burmese styles. The first stop is Wat Phra Kaew, a Buddhist temple built in the 14th century under the Lanna Empire, where the Emerald Buddha was discovered. A replica of the statue is available for viewing at the temple.
Next, you will proceed to the riverside for the next part of the tour. Aboard a traditional long tail boat, you'll cruise along the Kok River and enjoy views of the city and riverside monuments.
The tour will also include a visit to Tham Phra Cave, where a Buddhist temple exists within a cave.
At the end of the four-hour guided tour of Chiang Rai, you'll be returned to your hotel in the city centre.
