Chiang Rai Guided Tour
After being picked up from your hotel at 8:30 am on the day of your tour, you'll embark on your guided tour of Chiang Rai.
This northernmost province of Thailand features enchanting architecture and fascinating culture exemplifying the blend of Thai and Burmese styles. The first stop will be Wat Phra Kaew, a Buddhist temple built in the 14th century during the Lanna Empire, where the Emerald Buddha was discovered. A replica of the statue is available for viewing at the temple.
Following your visit to Wat Phra Kaew, the tour continues to the riverside for a ride on a traditional long tail boat, offering a unique perspective of the city while cruising along the Kok River. You will observe various monuments and houses along the riverside and approach Tham Phra Cave, where a Buddhist temple has been constructed inside a cave.
At the conclusion of this four-hour guided tour of Chiang Rai, you will be returned to your hotel in the city centre.
