Chiang Rai Trekking
Day 1
The adventure begins at 10 am with a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Rai, followed by a trip to the Kok River for a traditional longtail boat ride. After an hour, we will disembark and meet members of the Karen hill tribe. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will trek through rice paddies and bamboo forests to a viewpoint for panoramic views before reaching the village Yafu, where we will dine with the Lahu hill tribe and spend the night in a bamboo cabin.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will trek for two hours to another hill tribe village. There, our guide will prepare lunch using traditional bamboo techniques. Following this, we will relax at nearby hot springs. At the end of the hike, we will return to hotels in Chiang Rai.
3 Day Trek
You can choose between a two-day trek or a three-day trek around Chiang Rai. The three-day option includes a visit to the Huay Mae Sai Waterfalls and interaction with the Akha hill tribe. The second night will be spent camping near Yafu village, then hiking to the Karen village and visiting hot springs before returning to Chiang Rai by 3 pm on the third day.
Tour Accommodation
The two-day trek includes one night's accommodation in bamboo cabins. The three-day tour features tent accommodations on the second night.
