Segway Tour of Chignin + Wine Tasting

We will meet at the scheduled time at the Claude Quenard & Fils winery, where after a brief introduction, we will commence our segway tour of Chignin.

During the tour, we will glide among the vineyards and uncover the secrets of the wine-growing area of Savoie, known for its favorable climate. Participants will learn about the process of how Savoyard wines are produced.

The tour will conclude with a return to the Claude Quenard & Fils facilities, situated in a former Carthusian Fathers complex. Here, we will enjoy a tasting of 5 wines produced through dynamic organic farming, which will enable us to identify the different nuances of aroma, flavor, and color characteristic of Savoie wines.

This vineyard has been certified organic since 2000, and it was among the first in Savoie to adopt this type of agriculture.

After approximately two hours of segway riding and wine tasting, we will conclude the experience at the Claude Quenard & Fils winery.
