Chihuahua & El Fuerte 4-Day Tour

Colonial churches in charming villages, artwork by indigenous communities, and deep canyons await on our 4-day tour of Chihuahua and El Fuerte. We'll combine nature, culture, and history on our journey through the Sierra Madre on the Chepe Express.

Tour Details

Day 1: Chihuahua - Creel

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and take a bus to Creel, stopping at the Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc to visit the regional museum, the cheese factory Américas, and a local bakery. After that, we'll check into your hotel in Creel, and the rest of the day is free to explore the town, including the Church of Cristo Rey and handicrafts by the Rarámuri Indigenous community. Overnight in Creel.

Day 2: Creel - Divisadero

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll drive to Divisadero. After checking into your hotel and having lunch, we'll visit the Copper Canyon Adventure Park for 4 hours, including activities like walking, crossing a suspension bridge, and taking a cable car ride. Rest overnight in Divisadero.

Day 3: Divisadero - El Fuerte

Following breakfast, we'll head to the Chepe Express train station to board and enjoy scenic views of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Arriving in El Fuerte, a Pueblo Mágico, explore cobbled streets, a colonial church, and a handicraft market, with time for lunch. End the day at the hotel in El Fuerte.

Day 4: El Fuerte - Los Mochis

After breakfast, you have free time for exploration and lunch. We will then take you to your hotel or the airport in Los Mochis, concluding the tour around 3 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

The Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc is closed on Sundays; if your tour falls on this day, lunch will be at a Mennonite restaurant.

If 2 adults and 1 child are in the same room, book 2 adults in a double room plus 1 child. For 1 adult and 1 child, book 1 adult in a single room plus 1 child. Only one reservation per room type is allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Train tickets are non-refundable and cannot be changed; a 30% penalty applies. You can cancel the rest of the activity for free up to 48 hours before the tour starts.
