Chihuahua & El Fuerte 4-Day Tour

Colonial churches in charming villages, artwork by indigenous communities, and deep canyons await on our 4-day tour of Chihuahua and El Fuerte. We'll combine nature, culture, and history on our journey through the Sierra Madre on the Chepe Express.

Tour Details

Day 1: Chihuahua - Creel

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and take our bus to Creel, stopping at the Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc to visit the regional museum, the cheese factory Américas, and a local bakery. You'll have the rest of the day free to explore Creel, including visiting the Church of Cristo Rey and local handicrafts. Overnight in Creel.

Day 2: Creel - Divisadero

After breakfast, we will drive to Divisadero and check into the hotel. Enjoy a meal before exploring the Copper Canyon at the Copper Canyon Adventure Park. Spend 4 hours walking, crossing a suspension bridge, and riding a cable car. Overnight in Divisadero.

Day 3: Divisadero - El Fuerte

We will have breakfast and then board the Chepe Express to El Fuerte, a Pueblo Mágico. Explore its cobbled streets, colonial church, and handicraft market. Enjoy local cuisine for lunch and then overnight in El Fuerte.

Day 4: El Fuerte - Los Mochis

After breakfast, you will have free time before we take you to your hotel or the airport in Los Mochis, with goodbyes around 3 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

The Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc is closed on Sundays; an alternative lunch at a Mennonite restaurant will be provided if applicable.

Additional Info

If 2 adults and 1 child are staying in the same room, book as 2 adults in a double room plus 1 child. If 1 adult and 1 child are staying, book as 1 adult in a single room plus 1 child. Only one reservation per room type is allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Train tickets are non-refundable and incur a 30% penalty. The rest of the activity can be canceled for free up to 48 hours before the tour.
