Chihuahua & El Fuerte 4-Day Tour

Colonial churches in charming villages, artwork by indigenous communities and deep canyons await on our 4-day tour of Chihuahua and El Fuerte. We'll combine nature, culture and history on our unforgettable journey through the Sierra Madre on the Chepe Express.

Tour Details

Day 1: Chihuahua - Creel

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and take our bus to Creel. A stop at the Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc includes a visit to the regional museum, cheese factory Américas, and a local bakery. Afterward, you’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy Creel. Recommended activities include visiting the Church of Cristo Rey and shopping for handicrafts made by the Rarámuri Indigenous community.

Day 2: Creel - Divisadero

After breakfast, we will travel to Divisadero, where you'll have time for lunch before exploring the Copper Canyon Adventure Park. Enjoy 4 hours of activities including a suspension bridge and a cable car ride. The day will conclude at the hotel in Divisadero.

Day 3: Divisadero - El Fuerte

After breakfast, we will board the Chepe Express to El Fuerte, a recognized Pueblo Mágico. Here, you can explore cobbled streets, a colonial church, and the handicraft market, along with tasting local cuisine.

Day 4: El Fuerte - Los Mochis

Following breakfast, enjoy some free time before we take you to your hotel or the airport in Los Mochis for goodbyes around 3 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

The Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc is closed on Sundays; an alternative lunch at a Mennonite restaurant will be provided on that day.

Additional Info

Reservations for rooms must follow specified configurations, such as booking 2 adults in a double room plus 1 child or 1 adult in a single room plus 1 child. You cannot book more than 1 reservation per room type.

Cancellation Policy

Train tickets are non-refundable and subject to a 30% penalty. The remainder of the activity can be canceled for free up to 48 hours before the tour.
