Mallín Grande is an ideal starting point to explore the Chilean Patagonia, where you'll ride along the beautiful landscapes of the General Carrera Lake. On this horseback ride you'll feel in full contact with nature.

Horseback Riding in Mallín Grande

We'll start the horse ride from an equestrian centre in Mallín Grande, located next to the CH-265 road, meeting at your chosen time. The centre's instructors will provide a 20-minute briefing on riding techniques to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. No prior riding experience is required.

The equestrian route will be of low difficulty and last three hours, taking us through the surroundings of Mallín Grande. Following the paths of the old muleteers, we'll ride through areas of Chilean Patagonia, surrounded by coigües forests.

Our ride will continue along the shores of the General Carrera Lake, the largest lake in Chile. We will make stops at various viewpoints to take in the scale of this monumental Patagonian lake.

During one of these breaks, we will enjoy a snack consisting of a cereal bar, nuts, and juice or mineral water, based on your preference. After this refreshment, we will continue exploring other scenic areas along the lake's shore.

Finally, we will conclude the tour by returning to the starting point.
