Kayaking on Silvia Lagoon

Birdsongs and the flowing of the water will be the only sounds you'll hear on this tour, where you'll relax paddling in a kayak on the tranquil Silvia Lagoon in Chilean Patagonia.

We'll meet at the time of your choice next to the CH-265 road and, from there, we'll drive in a 4x4 to the nearby Silvia Lagoon, located just four kilometres away (2.5 miles).

Upon arrival at this Patagonian lake in Mallín Grande, the instructor will provide a brief overview on paddle usage. Participants will don life jackets and begin kayaking on the lagoon, experiencing a low-difficulty trip focused on enjoying the landscapes.

While kayaking, we'll learn about the Patagonian fauna and flora surrounding the lagoon. The proximity of Lake General Carrera, located just a couple of kilometres away, contributes to the area's vastly biodiverse ecosystem.

After the kayaking segment, we'll stop on the shores for a snack including a cereal bar, nuts, coffee, and juice or mineral water, based on your preferences.

Finally, we will return by 4x4 to the meeting point, arriving three hours after pickup.

Early Morning Tour

If you opt for the 5 am start, the kayak trip will include bird watching, optimal during early morning hours. Additionally, this early departure provides a breakfast featuring local products.
