One of the main natural gems of Mallín Grande is the Silvia Lagoon. You can navigate at your own pace on this lake in the Chilean Patagonia, renting paddle surfing or kayaking equipment.

At the time of your choice, we will meet at the CH-265 road, and from this point in Mallín Grande, we will transport you in a 4x4 vehicle to the Silvia Lagoon, which is located 4 kilometres (2.4 miles) away.

Upon arrival at the lagoon, you can choose between complete paddle surfing or kayaking equipment. For paddle surfing, we provide the board and paddle. For kayaking, we supply the boat and paddles.

After equipping you with life jackets and the necessary equipment, you can explore the Silvia Lagoon at your own pace. You will experience a relatively easy navigation while listening to the sounds of Patagonian birds in this ecosystem.

Additionally, you can enjoy views of the Andean mountains that dominate this part of Chilean Patagonia. This offers a memorable natural experience.

At the end of your visit, we will transfer you back by 4x4 to the starting point, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled three hours after pickup.

Fishing in the Silvia Lagoon

If you opt to kayak in the Silvia Lagoon, we can provide fishing equipment free of charge. However, you must have your own valid fishing licence to take advantage of this option.
